wavedash.ing / custom mail forwarders

I'm trying a new thing

I am selling a small number of @wavedash.ing email addresses that act just a little like Apple's Hide My Email service. You pick the name, and your @wavedash.ing email forwards to your daily @gmail.com, @proton.me, etc. personal address.

SHORT VERSION What this is

You are getting an email forwarder, not a new inbox. you@wavedash.ing receives incoming mail and sends it to your real email address, but you can't send mail as you@wavedash.ing.

There is no separate inbox, password, email login, SMTP access, or "send as @wavedash.ing" support included. It is intentionally simple.

PRIVACY I do not read your mail

I will not see any emails sent to the address. I only need to know the alias you want and the destination address it should forward to so I can configure it on my side.

Do not send me passwords, recovery codes, or anything secret while setting this up.

QUEUE First come, first served

Requests are handled first come, first served once the request is received. A complete request means the form has your email name choice, destination inbox, contact email, backup contact, and the required acknowledgements.

If two people ask for the same address, the earlier complete request gets first claim. If a request is missing key details or has a typo that blocks setup, it is not reserved until the corrected request is complete.

NAMES What I probably will and will not approve

REQUEST Fill this out and it goes into the review queue

The form sends a structured request into my private review queue. If I approve it, I send a Square payment link to the contact email on the request. No payment is collected here.

Step 1 of 4
Alias choices

Put one per line. If your first choice is taken or reserved, I move down the list.

FLOW What happens after you ask

LIMITS The boring but important parts

This is a personal-domain forwarding experiment, not enterprise email hosting. Please do not use it for spam, account abuse, phishing, mass signups, or anything that could get the domain blocked, because I value my ownership of you@wavedash.ing.

I can revoke or refuse an address for abuse, nonpayment, legal risk, domain reputation risk, or if it turns out to be reserved for something I need to operate the site. I also would not use this as the only recovery address for life-or-death accounts. It should be fun and useful, like the email you give out to sign into start.gg and to give to friends you meet at tournaments before they earn your trust.

If you need to change the destination later, send the old alias, the new destination, and proof you are the person who bought it. I may ask for a confirmation reply from the old destination if that is the cleanest way to avoid hijacks.
